In 1990, we began our community grants program for the restoration or rehabilitation of residential and commercial historic structures. We added grants for educational projects relating to historic preservation in the early 1990s. From 2000 through 2024, the Society’s grant programs have awarded more than $3.3 million dollars to individuals and organizations. Take a look at just a few of our completed grant projects below!

We offer competitive grants once a year for the restoration or rehabilitation of residential or commercial historic structures that are at least 50 years old.
