We urged the Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC) to push for design refinements that would better respect the historic context of the following proposed projects:

819 Augusta: Multi-family infill on the original site of the historic Claudius King House, which will be moved across the street from the new housing complex.

504 Austin: Renovation of the former La Fama Bakery.

139 E. Commerce: The Floodgate Building on the River Walk, which also shares the street with the historic Witte Building and the Esquire Bar.

The HDRC approved all three projects.
