Re: Beacon Hill Elementary School

Dear Councilman Treviño:

This handsome Collegiate Revival building, designed by San Antonio architect Leo Dielmann in 1916, remains structurally sounds despite two decades of neglect. We have been encouraged by renderings created by local architects that show how the space could be transformed into a beautiful and useful community asset for decades to come. We appreciate your leadership in working with local residents to save the building and hope that the San Antonio Independent School District will take quick action to repurpose the building or convey it to an owner who will rehabilitate it.

Sincerely,
