Help Create an African American Cultural Context Statement for San Antonio

Do you know key people, places, events, and traditions associated with San Antonio’s African American community?  The City’s Office of Historic Preservation would like to hear from you.

Your knowledge and ideas are needed to help create a cultural context statement.  This type of statement will provide a thematic framework to help identify and evaluate local African American sites that should be preserved.
