OST 0-MILESTONE DEDICATION
OST100 has been organized to locate, revitalize and preserve the roadway, businesses and historic sites of the original 1920s OLD SPANISH TRAIL (OST) auto highway for a decade long Centennial Celebration. San Antonio was the center of the 1920s OST Association.
Registration by March 14th is required to attend the event.
AMERICAN VOLKSSPORT ASSOCIATION WALK
Morning free time to enjoy San Antonio and nearby OST towns. AVA/OST100 partnership over the past decade has resulted in Blue Ribbon award winning WALK THE OST TEXAS and WALK THE OST USA Special Programs initiated by the Randolph Roadrunners Walking Club. Check www.ava.org for AVA Walks in San Antonio and nearby OST towns of Boerne, Schertz, and Seguin.
PARADES – leave from San Pedro Park and arrive at City Hall
2pm Model T Fords with dignitaries southbound leave San Pedro Springs Park on N. Flores Street from 800 W. Ashby Place Parking Lot, San Antonio, TX 78212
2pm Parade of Horses & Wagons eastbound leave 700 block of W. Commerce Street, San Antonio, Texas 78207
2:30pm Parades arrive City Hall 0-Milestone at 100 Military Plaza between North and South Flores Streets, San Antonio, Texas 78205. Milestone marker is attached to a boulder at the northeast corner of the building, facing the Commerce Street parking lot.
