Jovita Idar was a civil rights trailblazer, journalist, nurse, educator, and translator who lived in San Antonio.
Join MACRI for a celebratory kick-off and community paint day for a new mural illustrating Jovita Idar’s remarkable life created by San Anto Cultural Arts at the Dress for Success San Antonio headquarters located at the corner of Frio and Robert B. Green Way (formerly Perez Street) – right on the block where Jovita once lived.
