World Monuments Fund Honors Black History

San Antonio’s Woolworth Building is one of three U.S. sites on the 2020 World Monuments Watch List.

The Alabama Civil Rights Sites; San Antonio’s Woolworth Building; Bunce Island in Sierra Leone, West Africa; and Providence Island in the Liberian capital of Monrovia in West Africa.  Each of these Watch sites has an important story to tell about the African American struggle for justice, and the universal quest for human dignity and freedom.  Read more.
