A Night in Old San Antonio : A History in Photographs
Description:
Longtime preservationist and local architect Lloyd Jary, FAIA (shown here with his wife, Cisi) joined the Conservation Society in 1973. One year, he decided to dress up in a wool serape, oversize sombrero, and bandolera on opening night, becoming "Pancho Villita." Today, Lloyd is easily one of the most photographed, painted, and popular characters of NIOSA, even appearing in many of the NIOSA posters.
