Volunteering with the Society
Dedicated volunteers help the Society
accomplish its mission to preserve the historical, cultural and natural
resources of San Antonio and its environs. Every year our volunteers
stage a Night in Old San Antonio®, one of the nation’s largest street
festivals, with the proceeds going to support the work of the Society.
For many San Antonians, Fiesta just wouldn’t be the same without lending
a hand in a neighbor’s NIOSA® food booth!
But the work of the Society goes on year
round and there are plenty of ways volunteers can help the Society and
its wonderfully supportive staff. We need our volunteers to do
everything from researching historic properties to decorating cascarones…from
monitoring City meetings that affect our mission to being tour guides
for fourth graders in our November Heritage Education Tours. But most of
all, we need our volunteers to be our ambassadors in the community.

the ways you would like to help when you click Continue.
